Norse Stores is an essential part of our Norse 145 homebased setup at OSL Airport.
We manage all parts, components, and tools required for Norse technical operations, including line and base maintenance activities for both our own fleet and external customers.
Additionally, Norse Stores at OSL holds the global responsibility for supporting and coordinating all stores and parts activities at our international outstations.
As a Stores Officer, you will ensure high efficiency, strict regulatory compliance, and seamless logistics support to keep our aircraft flying safely.
Responsibilities and Duties
Operations & Logistics
Oversee logistics: Manage the receipt, storage, and delivery/shipment of tools, equipment, and consumable or commercial items.
Inventory control: Maintain a complete, accurate, and up-to-date inventory of all tools and equipment across operations.
Quality & Compliance (EASA Part-145)
Enforce standards: Implement and enforce strict procedures to guarantee total quality and safety compliance.
Receiving inspections: Ensure all incoming tools are thoroughly inspected, tagged, and stored in strict accordance with EASA Part-145 procedures.
Maintenance & Global Support
Tool control & calibration: Manage the tool control and follow-up processes for calibrations and repairs at the main OSL Tool Store.
Global outstation support: Monitor and follow up on tool registration, lifetime tracking, and shelf-life management for both internal and 3rd party stations.
Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor tooling to ensure quality standards are met, with the ability to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Aviation Experience: Proven experience from an airline, MRO, or aviation logistics environment (preferably within an EASA Part-145 framework).
System Knowledge: Good operational experience utilizing AMOS (or an equivalent aviation ERP/maintenance system).
Material Handling: Strong hands-on experience in receiving, storing, managing, and shipping high-value aircraft parts and specialized tooling.
Certificates: Valid driver’s license (Class B) and a valid forklift license (T1–T4).
Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Command of a Scandinavian language is a distinct advantage.
Preferred Skills & Personal Attributes
DGR Certification: Prior training or certification in IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) is highly desirable.
Safety & Quality Focus: Exceptional attention to detail, strong work ethic, and an uncompromised commitment to aviation safety and traceability.
Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work a flexible shift pattern (including evenings, nights, and weekends) to support 24/7 technical operations.
Background Check: Ability to pass a clean criminal background check (uttømmende politiattest) required to obtain a permanent OSL airport ID badge.
