<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As our Tour Guide for Japaventura, you will accompany our clients in their dream of discovering Japan as well as making their trip an unforgettable lifetime experience! </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will join our team of passionate Tour Conductors and report directly to the Executive Director of Japaventura.</span></p>

<h2><em><strong>Your main responsibilities will be</strong></em></h2>
<p>As a guide, you’ll lead small groups (4–12 travelers) on 2–3 week tours across Japan.<br> <br>Your main duties are:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Lead and Inspire: </strong> Be the leader of your group, offering clear information about each destination, sharing your enthusiasm for Japan’s fascinating culture, and creating joyful, memorable experiences for travelers.</li>
<li><strong>Plan and Prepare:</strong> Be well-organized, know your daily itinerary, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Always be ready with a Plan B to adapt to<strong> </strong>unexpected situations.<br>Participate in training sessions and pre-tour briefings to stay fully prepared.</li>
<li><strong>Support and Communicate: </strong>Assist travelers with their questions and provide excellent customer service, even in challenging situations.</li>
<li><strong>Ensure Safety and Quality: </strong>Prioritize traveler safety and ensure our partners meet our quality, safety, and sustainability standards.</li>
<li><strong>Handle Emergencies: </strong>Respond to challenges effectively, staying calm under stress and following established procedures.</li>

<h2><em><strong>The basics you bring along</strong></em></h2>
<p>We’re looking for someone with:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Passion & Knowledge</strong>: A love for Japan’s culture, people, and history, combined with a deep understanding of its traditions, daily life, and current events.</li>
<li><strong>Language Skills</strong>: Advanced French (C1) for client communication and good Japanese (B2) to support tour operations.</li>
<li><strong>Experience</strong>: You’re currently living in Japan or have lived here for at least one year, ensuring a deep, personal connection to the country.</li>
<li><strong>Personal Qualities</strong>: Organized, reliable, motivated, and solution-oriented under pressure.</li>
<li><strong>Team Skills</strong>: Cooperative and communicative, with a positive and professional demeanor.</li>
</ul>
