About the role

 


Job Description:


 


We are looking for a resourceful Tournament Administrator to handle the execution of our esports tournaments. You will be part of our existing team of Tournament Admins and be responsible for online and offline tournaments for various esports titles, taking place in PGL Studios or outside the country.


Among other things, a Tournament Admin should be ready to offer immediate assistance, to have a crystal clear picture of rules and regulations, and to be a pleasant and helpful presence.


 


Responsibilities:


        


  • Overseeing tournaments & making sure that the tournament rules are being followed

  • Inspecting the equipment used during tournaments to make sure it meets all regulations

  • Mediate potential disputes based on the official tournament ruleset

  • Be the middleman between competing teams/players and our team during a tournament.

  • Creating tournament rulesets & schedules

  • Suggesting tournament formats 

  • Creating tournament brackets 

  • Contacting players via email to provide rules, clarifications and other communications related to our tournaments

  • Gathering player information or necessary documentation

  • Delivering tournament results & reports

  • Recording the tournament results in different platforms

  • Other duties as assigned


 


Requirements:


 


  • Passion for video games & esports

  • A positive and problem-solving attitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English

  • High proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Google Drive - Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms

  • Advance knowledge regarding at least one of the following titles - Dota 2, CS: GO, Fifa 20, Apex Legends, Gears 5

  • Knowledge of esports tournaments formats & structures

  • Flexibility to travel abroad for events and work varying hours, including nights or weekends.

  • Attention to details

  • Teamwork skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent planning, organization and coordination skills
