Junior Trader (DV Equities) - Mandarin & English Fluency Required

Now, DV group affiliates include two broker dealers, a cryptocurrency market making firm, and a bourgeoning investment adviser.</span><br><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work side by side with senior traders</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Learn about proprietary methodologies and trading systems that support an established trading business</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Real-time risk management in the form of trade entry and risk layoffs</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Build and maintain trading models</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Enhance existing trades; identify and pursue new opportunities</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Liaise between trading group, internal company departments, and OTC relationships</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Further responsibilities may be driven by the individual’s interests and specific skills</span></li> </ul> <p><strong style="font-size: 12pt;">Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a trading role</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related field</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to read, write and speak fluent Mandarin Chinese and English</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast paced, high-pressure environment</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detail oriented, organized and diligent</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong understanding of math, probability and statistics</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficient with Excel and VBA</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficient with SQL, Python, and statistical modeling; other programming experience is a plus</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Advanced aptitude for problem solving and multitasking</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><em>DV is not accepting unsolicited&nbsp;resumes&nbsp;from search firms.
