If you are interested in pursuing a career in trading at a premier asset management firm, this role will provide you with unparalleled training and experience.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage intra &amp; end-of-day trade recaps and trade bookings, ensuring data integrity across systems</li> <li>Support industry and company-specific research</li> <li>Monitor markets and synthesize relevant news, flows, and headlines into concise updates for portfolio managers, traders, and analysts</li> <li>Consolidate and distribute broker flows, and market intelligence to the investment team</li> <li>Partner closely with the trading desk to provide day-to-day operational and analytical support, enabling efficient desk operations</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT'S REQUIRED</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline</li> <li>Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience in equities trading, execution support, or trade operations on an equities desk</li> <li>Practical knowledge of equity markets, the order lifecycle, execution venues, and basic equity derivatives</li> <li>Proven experience entering and monitoring orders and managing post-trade processes including trade affirmation, allocation, and settlement reconciliation</li> <li>Proficiency with spreadsheet analysis including advanced formulas and pivot tables, and experience using market data terminals</li> <li>Experience using order and execution management platforms and trade booking systems</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to investigate trade discrepancies under time pressure</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin for day-to-day desk communications in Hong Kong</li> <li>Ability to work extended hours when markets require, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across trading, operations, risk, and compliance teams</li> <li>Commitment to the highest ethical standards</li> </ul> <p><strong>WE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE</strong></p> <p>We invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being.
