The Training Coordinator is an exciting opportunity to make a big impact on every team member within ITS Logistics. This role is responsible for designing, implementing and evolving best in class training programs from start to finish.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Training Coordinator instills the ITS culture, core values, intangible qualities and mentality within each team member who joins the company starting on day one.&nbsp; You will be responsible for building relationships with all team members, facilitating hands-on learning in and out of the classroom and holding team members to our standards.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>Responsibilities:</em></strong></p> <p>As the Training Coordinator you will be responsible for creating training experiences that align with our culture and standards and provides a positive experience for new team members.</p> <ul> <li>Develop and deliver training content to new and existing team members through different modalities (i.e. instructor-led training, web-based training, hands-on training, job aids, quick reference guides, simulations, etc.).</li> <li>Guide new team members through their experience and acclimation to ITS’ culture.</li> <li>Optimize training program, always striving toward continuous improvement without sacrificing retention.</li> <li>Constantly monitor, evaluate, make recommendations for and report on improvement on the ITS Training Plan’s effectiveness, success, scalability and ROI.</li> <li>Regularly evaluate trainee performance to ensure transfer of knowledge and application to day-to-day operations.</li> <li>Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, techniques, developments and best practices, as well as industry news and technology.</li> <li>Actively contribute to department and company goals.</li> <li>Uphold and deliver ITS core values and best practices to team members.</li> <li>Interface with operations and leadership to ensure training aligns with business needs.</li> <li>Provide weekly reporting to Leadership team.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>About the Requirements</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Requires two years of experience in the supply chain and logistics industry, or three or more years of experience in instructional design and training development and delivery.</li> <li>Must have previous experience in training and/or mentoring others.</li> <li>Requires a dynamic, outgoing and engaging personality with the ability to build deep relationships quickly.</li> <li>Requires experience in presenting information in front of groups.</li> <li>Bachelor’s Degree preferred.</li> <li>Experience implementing training modules preferred.</li> <li>Self-motivated, organized and detailed-oriented.</li> </ul>
