Transport Engineer

HanmiGlobal Saudi is looking for a dedicated Transport Engineer to plan, design, and manage transportation systems and infrastructure to ensure efficient and sustainable mobility solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop transport strategies that align with project goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct transportation studies including traffic analysis, demand forecasting, and impact assessments.
• Design and evaluate transport networks, including roads, transit systems, pedestrian, and cycling infrastructure.
• Develop transportation models and simulations to support design decisions.
• Prepare technical reports, designs, and specifications for transportation projects.
• Coordinate with government agencies, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor project progress and assist in resolving technical issues during construction phases.
• Promote sustainable transport solutions and best engineering practices.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for transport projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in transportation planning, design, and management.
• Proficiency in transportation modeling software such as VISSIM, TransCAD, or SYNCHRO.
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, transport policies, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience working on infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia or similar regions is preferred.
