Employees must have a neat, clean appearance and the ability to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) exam.</p> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong> 5-day work week | 3PM -7PM Start with variable days off. <strong>This position will move to DSD on October 1st.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the safe operation of the Company vehicle while complying with all company, State and Federal regulations.</li> <li>Must represent the Company in a courteous, ethical and professional manner at all times.</li> <li>Must keep a vehicle operation log and report any necessary maintenance or other problems to the Distribution Supervisor daily and complete all necessary reports as required by DOT and HP Hood LLC.</li> <li>Deliver all trailers ordered in a timely manner and advise the Distribution Supervisor of any recommendations for improvements or problems needing attention on a daily basis.</li> <li>Keep accurate, daily records of accounts and cases delivered and returned by customers</li> <li>Must be able to work independently while supporting the Distribution Department.</li> <li>Work in a cooperative manner with managers, supervisors and peers.</li> <li>Follow all company safety policies and procedures.</li> <li>Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.</li> <li>Maintain a clean &amp; safe work environment.</li> <li>Perform all other related duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Job Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED</li> <li>Current, valid CDL</li> <li>Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire/transfer to position</li> <li>Reading &amp; writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors.</li> <li>Basic math skills.</li> <li>Ability to work well as part of a team.</li> <li>Good communication skills.</li> <li>Multi-tasked Individual.</li> <li>Ability to work independently with little supervision.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Working Conditions:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to sit, stand and walk.&nbsp;</li> <li>Regularly required to drive various company owned or operated passenger and commercial vehicles.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work in all-weather conditions</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Physical Demands:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Please see attached handout for an extensive list of physical demands.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>SQF Requirements/Responsibilities</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.</li> <li>Support biosecurity and GMP measures.</li> <li>Work with SQF site lead and HR to support SQF training efforts.</li> <li>Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.</li> <li>Backup duties are covered by other Managers when not on site.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.</p></div><div class="title">The pay range for this position is</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$1,538.51</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$1,709.46 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p>HP Hood is an Equal Opportunity Employer&nbsp;</p> <p>Female/Minority/Veteran/Disabled</p> <p>"VERVRAA Federal Contractor"</p> <p><a href="https://hood.com/privacy-policy" target="_blank">Privacy Policy</a></p> <p><a href="https://hood.com/-/media/Project/HoodCom/PDFs/HP-HOOD-LLC-CA-CCPA-EMPLOYEE-PRIVACY-NOTICE-DECEMBER-2025.pdf" target="_blank">CCPA</a></p> <p>For Applicants in Massachusetts - It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
