Our team combines cutting-edge technology with a deep commitment to safety and innovation to solve the real operational and design challenges facing our communities' transportation systems.</p></div><p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p> <p>PSI is seeking to hire a <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Transportation Engineer</strong> with knowledge and experience in roadway and traffic design. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience performing traffic engineering related tasks, and a STEM degree. This position allows for exposure to multiple disciplines within transportation engineering, including both design and analysis work and seeing projects’ development from the concept to final design.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Production of transportation design plans, specifications, and estimate packages. Projects may include geometric design, temporary traffic control, traffic signals, utilities, signing, pavement marking, roadways, and lighting networks.</li> <li>Perform quality control reviews of design documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project objectives</li> <li>Mentor junior engineers and designers while providing technical leadership and oversight on project QA/QC procedures</li> <li>Learn and use readily available resources, standards, and reference materials to provide the best quality design deliverables.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>B.S. Degree in Engineering or other related STEM fields</li> <li>5+ years of Civil Engineering experience within transportation/traffic/roadway</li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> <li>Ability and desire to operate professionally in a team environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>P.E License</li> <li>Experience using OpenRoads, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and/or Synchro</li> <li>M.S.
