About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Support US counterparts in managing the complete claims lifecycle using predefined templates.
- Create and process policy claims for motor and property-related cases.
- Proactively communicate with customers via email to gather required documentation and provide claim updates.
- Take ownership of claims through to the settlement stage, ensuring accurate assessment of loss and calculation of payable amounts.
- Review customer-provided documentation and determine coverage eligibility or request additional substantiation.
- Work on third-party client systems to validate claim information and update data on the Davies in-house claims system.
- Perform manual policy validation checks through client portals in the absence of automated tools.
- Set up new claims and maintain regular updates on internal systems.
- Ensure quality standards are met and assist in process improvement initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Graduation (Bachelor’s degree in any stream) is mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic calculation skills relevant to property damage and motor claims.
- Knowledge of insurance processes, particularly in motor/property lines, preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to handle sensitive customer data with integrity and accuracy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Flexible and willing to learn new tools or systems as per client/process need.
