<h3><strong>Position Summary</strong></h3>
<p>We are seeking a highly skilled Building Automation Service Technician to support our expanding controls division. This role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing BAS and HVAC control systems across a variety of commercial environments.</p>
<p>This is a travel-based position requiring a strong technical background in system diagnostics, controls programming, and integration.</p>

<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Diagnose, service, and repair building automation and HVAC control systems</li>
<li>Perform preventive maintenance and ensure systems are operating efficiently</li>
<li>Update, modify, and commission control programs within Niagara and Distech platforms</li>
<li>Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and energy savings</li>
<li>Troubleshoot network communication issues and resolve complex system challenges</li>
<li>Configure and calibrate field devices such as sensors, controllers, and actuators</li>
<li>Collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth handoff from project completion to service</li>
<li>Maintain clear service documentation, system backups, and maintenance records</li>
<li>Utilize remote monitoring tools for diagnostics and ongoing system oversight</li>
<li>Participate in an on-call rotation to support emergency service needs</li>
<li>Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in BAS, HVAC controls, or a related technical field</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks</li>
<li>Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control diagrams</li>
<li>Understanding of IP networks, system integration, and controls architecture</li>
<li>Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with a clean record</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while managing multiple service priorities</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Niagara N4 or Distech Controls certification</li>
<li>Exposure to lighting controls, energy management tools, or IoT-based systems</li>
<li>Basic programming or scripting experience (e.g., APIs, BQL, PX, GCL, or similar tools)</li>
<li>OSHA 10 (or equivalent safety certification)</li>
</ul>
