Treasury Trader - Japanese Repo

QRT’s culture of innovation continuously drives our ambition to deliver high quality returns for our investors.</p> <p>Your future role with QRT</p> <ul> <li>You will be trading across APAC markets to optimize financing for our fixed income and equity portfolio</li> <li>You will work closely with PMs, Prime Brokers, Financing Counterparties and Operations to ensure positions are appropriately traded/financed/rolled/settled</li> <li>Managing and monitoring FX and cash balances, identifying and driving opportunities to reinvest capital.</li> <li>You will work on and help to develop our toolset and systems to help build the infrastructure that a repo function and wider Treasury group needs to fully support an active trading desk</li> <li>Produce and take over daily/monthly reporting pertaining to Repo and Treasury activity/P&amp;L</li> </ul> <p>Your present skillset</p> <ul> <li>2-10 years’ experience in repo from ideally buy side but sell side will be considered</li> <li>Proficiency in Japanese is a must to work with stakeholders in Japan</li> <li>Fixed income experience is a must, equity experience will be good to have</li> <li>Excellent mathematical background with a degree in a financial/mathematical field</li> <li>SQL and Python knowledge highly desirable</li> <li>Excellent team-player</li> <li>Excellent communication skills essential</li> </ul> <p></p>
