This is at the core of our every action and this passion will be delivered by our knowledgeable and dedicated Team of Customer Service Professionals.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As a Example Home Center CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up merchandise at customers' homes and work sites, while professionally providing customers with answers to product questions.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Highlights of your role:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Deliver and pick up merchandise at customers’ homes and work sites – providing customers with answers to product questions and behaving in a professional manner</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Verify the truck load to ensure its conformance with shipping documents</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Check truck’s equipment and supplies to ensure road worthiness</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Unload product while maintaining the trip’s delivery schedule</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain all DOT and Example documentation requirements/Example regulations</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist customers in the lumberyard with orders and loading</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Operate forklift for unloading and loading of trucks</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain the appearance of the lumberyard, warehouses and products</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist customers inside the store and at the lumber desk as needed</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>You're a good fit if you have:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Have a valid Class A driver’s license (CDL) with a safe driving record, meeting all DOT requirements</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Have excellent customer service skills that represents Example in a professional manner</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Physically able to load and unload trailers and can pass physical assessment to a very heavy level</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Have prior knowledge of building products and experience in basic construction</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Are able to become certified to drive forklifts, boom lift, skid steer, and all delivery vehicles</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Are able to use computers and learn the point of sale (POS) system with required training</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Thrive in a team environment</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday – Friday varied hours; rotating weekend work required</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;</span><strong>Your opportunity for better living</strong></h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At Example, we’re driven to imagine and create better ways of living.
