TV Legal Delivery

<p>A24 is seeking a TV Legal Delivery Associate, an exciting new role working closely with our Post &amp; Legal teams. Reporting to the Legal Delivery Manager, this role will independently manage day-to-day legal delivery workflows for our original television slate, including scripted, unscripted, animation and UK-based projects, while escalating complex issues and supporting consistent delivery standards across A24’s Film and TV businesses. This role can be based in our New York or Los Angeles office.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Initial Responsibilities: </strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day legal delivery workflows of all A24-produced TV projects through pre-production, post-production, delivery, and servicing, ensuring that all necessary legal documentation is vetted and approved in accordance with established requirements and guidance from supervisor</li> <li>Collaborating with A24’s Legal, Finance, Marketing, Music, Post-production, and Distribution teams to facilitate resolution of delivery-related issues</li> <li>Coordinate delivery schedules with external partners, escalating complex negotiations as needed, (with respect to both incoming and outgoing delivery); liaising with internal teams to manage workflows, ensuring that all information and documents are available for downstream activities/servicing needs</li> <li>Centralizing and organizing information and documentation in internal systems and tracking documents</li> <li>Guide external producing partners and vendor’s review of rights agreements, security agreements, talent contracts, credit statements, marketing materials, legal clearances, music agreements, third party material agreements, chain of title, E&amp;O Insurance, copyright registrations, and all others to ensure complete delivery of all required docs and assets;&nbsp;</li> <li>Identify recurring operational issues and recommend improvements to legal delivery workflows, templates, tracking systems, and documentation practices</li> <li>Coordinate outgoing legal delivery and special document creation for both domestic and international television networks, with guidance on complex or non-standard requests</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years experience, with significant experience in a delivery role at major network / studio and / or law firm focusing on entertainment</li> <li>Deep understanding of the legal delivery workflow and the ability to review and track all document deliverables, including music licenses and marketing materials</li> <li>Strong organization and planning skills; able to track multiple projects effectively</li> <li>Motivated self-starter skilled in multitasking and time management</li> <li>Creative problem solver that thrives in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Polished and effective communicator</li> <li>The ability to work with external partners to correct delivery deficiencies on a deadline</li> <li>Established, strong relationships within the entertainment industry</li> <li>Outstanding written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree and excellent academic credentials</li> </ul> <p>We are looking for diverse perspectives. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
