In September 2024, Nordic Air Defence unveiled its first product, the Kreuger 100, a dual-use drone-interceptor platform engineered in Sweden by a diverse, international team. Our engineers and operators bring experience from leading defence, drone, and tech organisations worldwide, including Palantir, Kratos, SAAB, Anduril, and others.

The Role

This is a part-time, on-site role in Stockholm. As a UAV Technician Intern, you will assemble and ensure quality products are delivered on time. This includes performing quality control of outsourced modules, in-house system assembly, running tests and diagnostics along with software flashing and versioning. To be a successful Production Technician you should display great attention to detail and be practically oriented. Another core skill consists of identifying and effectively communicating potential manufacturing improvements to the engineering team.

We are looking for somebody, likely with an engineering or manufacturing background, who satisfies the following requirements:

• Has previous manufacturing experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Can effectively follow and help improve work instructions

• Is proficient in soldering and wire harness assembly

• Has training or experience in handling battery packs

• Has training or experience in handling and installing sensitive electronics

Desirable bonuses:

• A personal passion for drones and their assembly

• Can work compensated overtime when needed

Additionally:

• You are ideally a citizen of a NATO country

• You must be prepared to relocate to Stockholm permanently

• Any experience working with the defence industry is a plus
