<p><strong>UF6 Operator:</strong></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">We are seeking a UF₆ Enrichment System Operator to support development, commissioning, pilot operations, and full-scale operation of a uranium enrichment facility. This role will lead development of the facility Concept of Operations (CONOPS), advise on operator training programs and procedures, support R&D and pilot-scale testing activities, and serve as the senior operating authority during commissioning and startup.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on UF₆ operational experience, strong system-level understanding, and the ability to translate engineering design into safe, executable plant operations in both development and production environments.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="138"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Lead development of the facility Concept of Operations (CONOPS), including UF₆ feed, withdrawal, cylinder handling, sampling, and upset response philosophy.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Support and lead R&D and pilot-scale enrichment operations, including test campaigns, system configuration changes, and evaluation of new or developmental process designs.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Translate engineering designs into executable operating procedures and safe work practices for both pilot and production systems.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Serve as the operations representative during design reviews, hazard analyses, system turnover, commissioning, and startup activities.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Act as Lead Operator during commissioning, pilot testing, and early operations, including system walkdowns, operational testing, and issue resolution.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Develop and advise on operator training programs, qualification standards, and staffing models to ensure operational readiness.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Provide operational leadership during abnormal conditions and emergent equipment or process issues.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Mentor operators and technicians in system knowledge, nuclear professionalism, and safe work execution.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>

<p data-renderer-start-pos="1171"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or related education preferred.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">7+ years of experience in uranium enrichment, nuclear fuel cycle operations, or similar high-hazard process facilities.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Direct operational experience with UF₆ handling systems, including feed and withdrawal stations, cylinder movement, and gas transfer systems.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience supporting commissioning, startup, pilot operations, or major system modifications in a regulated facility.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong understanding of nuclear safety culture and procedural compliance.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Demonstrated ability to interpret P&IDs, system descriptions, and engineering change documentation.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}">Preferred Qualifications:</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience in UF6 enrichment facilities.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Prior involvement in pilot-scale testing, R&D operations, or first-of-a-kind system startup.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience developing CONOPS or operating philosophy for new nuclear facilities.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience developing operator training and qualification programs.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Familiarity with DOE or NRC regulated facilities.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Background supporting HALEU operations.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Proven leadership experience guiding operations teams during complex build, testing, or startup phases.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>

<p>Pay range:</p>
<p><strong>$25.00-$50.00/hour</strong></p>
<p>Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. <span data-teams="true">Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on market conditions, business needs, or other factors.</span> In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.</p>
