<p><strong>UK Operations Director, Maidenhead – UK Coverage - £90k + Car Allowance &amp; Senior Executive Benefits</strong></p> <p>As UK Operations Director you’ll be driving outstanding nationwide service – through coordinating the field team, the service desk team and the procurement &amp; compliance teams. If, in response to customer demand, the team is growing rapidly, it takes a well organised, people focussed, leader.</p> <p>MCFT has an industry-leading, international reputation it its field – commercial kitchen maintenance; many of the processes, evolved in the UK, help to develop best practice around the world; foremost amongst these is the investment in training. Conversely, if we’re successful, we lead the market – and our ambition is to grow 20% year-on-year.</p> <p>How to safely task, manage, support and engage a significant proportion of developing engineers, whilst ensuring efficiency, financial viability and, above all, excellent customer experience?&nbsp; Whilst this is no ordinary challenge, we do have the solid foundation exemplary, highly experienced departmental leaders, passionate about continuing their standards.</p> <p><strong>Main responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contribute to corporate strategy in the areas of our Field team, Procurement, Compliance, Fleet &amp; Customer service to ensure that the company achieves its short and long-term objectives.</li> <li>Direct and oversee operations staff to ensure that they are motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.</li> <li>Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that core operational functions achieve their business objectives.</li> <li>Develop and control operational budgets to promote profitability and ensure the company has all the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters.</li> <li>Oversee purchasing to ensure that the company has the goods and services required within agreed costs and quality standards and at the right times.</li> <li>Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure safe and healthy working environments across all company locations.</li> <li>Maintain working relationships with all other directors to ensure effective co-ordination of all company activities in support of corporate objectives.</li> <li>Evaluate overall company performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics.</li> <li>Act as the company’s main adviser on all issues relating to operational functions and keep abreast of latest developments to ensure that the company maintains its competitive position.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge skills and experience required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Customer-facing and customer-centric experience; this role is above all about delivery.</li> <li>Team leadership including experienced direct reports and a national, team structure</li> <li>Field service management – there is something unique about running teams you can’t see</li> <li>Extensive operations management experience</li> <li>Significant industry experience</li> <li>Thorough knowledge of the company, its services and processes</li> <li>Analytical skills to evaluate data and performance/operation metrics</li> <li>Excellent inter-personal and negotiating skills</li> <li>Excellent organisational and leadership abilities</li> <li>Excellent time management skills</li> <li>Excellent decision-making skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Good to have:</strong></p> <p>Experience of hospitality.</p> <p><strong>Reporting to:</strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; UK MD</p> <p><strong>Responsible for:</strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Field teams, office support functions, procurement, compliance.</p> <p><strong>The package:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A starting salary of £90k.</li> <li>Generous Car Allowance.</li> <li>Discretionary Annual Bonus.</li> <li>28 days annual leave plus bank holidays that equates to 36 days holiday per year (7 weeks and 1 day).</li> <li>Award winning in-house training.</li> <li>Excellent progression opportunities.</li> <li>Private Health Care</li> <li>Pension scheme.</li> <li>Income protection.</li> <li>Mobile phone &amp; Laptop.</li> </ul> <p><strong>To find out more, please apply today.</strong></p>
