The Role:
- Teach History across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, inspiring students with a love of the past and equipping them with the skills to analyze and interpret historical events and sources.
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Contribute to the development of a challenging and enriching History curriculum that fosters critical thinking, historical research skills, and an understanding of diverse perspectives.
- Play an active role in the school's extracurricular programme, leading history clubs, organizing trips to historical sites, and supporting students in their academic pursuits.
Candidate Profile:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for History education.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of historical periods, themes, and research methodologies.
- Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
