The Role:
- Inspire and Engage: Deliver engaging and differentiated Music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering a love of music and developing students' musical skills and appreciation.
- Curriculum Expertise: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Music curriculum that encompasses a variety of musical genres, styles, and traditions.
- Lead Ensembles: Direct and rehearse school ensembles, such as choirs, orchestras, and bands, preparing them for performances and competitions.
- Individual Tuition: Provide individual instrumental tuition to students, nurturing their musical talents and supporting their progress.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Music education.
- Musical Expertise: Demonstrate a high level of musical proficiency, with experience in performing, composing, and arranging music.
- Inspiring Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the Performing Arts department.
