This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Leixlip, Kildare.</p> <p>You will be responsible for maintaining the Ultra-Pure Water systems that are used to support manufacturing processes.</p> <h3>Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li>As UPW Technician your job responsibilities will include:</li> <li>Carry out Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities on UPW systems as dictated by the CMMS and following the relevant job plans.</li> <li>Support any Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities as requested from your supervisor.</li> <li>Record all PM and CM activities through the CMMS system (Maximo)</li> <li>Ensure all procedures are adhered to when executing tasks, such as CoHe, permit to work, etc.</li> <li>Ensure all training is up to date before executing tasks.</li> <li>Carry out all tasks in a safe manner and escalate any concerns.</li> <li>Have the ability to read and understand P&amp;ID drawings.</li> <li>Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner, in compliance with client procedures.</li> <li>Work with operations and engineering teams to support testing of any changes to an operational system.</li> <li>Have excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, which above all, pose no risk to health and secondly provide no potential risk to any systems.</li> <li>Demonstrate ownership and show initiative to resolve issues in a timely manner in a high paced environment.</li> <li>Have excellent communication skills both oral and written</li> <li>Flexibility to work a Compressed Work Week shift pattern.</li> <li>Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> </ul> <h3>Skills Required:</h3> <ul> <li>3 Years+ industry experience.</li> <li>Able to work independently in a safe manner such that there is no injury to self or others.</li> <li>The ability to follow technical manuals and engineering diagrams.</li> <li>Identification and resolution of faults</li> <li>Replacing worn or damaged parts and re-setting instrument controls</li> <li>Responding to emergency breakdowns, for example replacing filters or valves</li> </ul> <h3>Education / Licenses / Certifications:</h3> <ul> <li>Fetac Level 6 trade qualification in Mechanical OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering&nbsp;</li> <li>Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.</li> </ul> <h3>Benefits:</h3> <ul> <li>VHI Healthcare Cover</li> <li>Life Assurance</li> <li>Pension Contribution</li> <li>Training And Educational Assistance</li> <li>Annual GP Check-Up</li> <li>Extra Annual Leave</li> <li>Healthcare Screening</li> <li>Recognition Rewards</li> </ul> <p>#LI-DNI</p> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>LotusWorks is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
