About the role 


As a Senior Urbanist - Planning, you’ll be involved in a range of high-profile urban development projects, working alongside some of the brightest minds in planning, design, economics, and engagement. You’ll working as part of a team on large scale complex projects, whilst also managing other planning and development projects under the guidance of the Project Director. You will be given excellent opportunities to develop your technical expertise, build on your existing project management skills, and cultivate strong client relationships, all while helping shape the future of our cities.


The ideal candidate will 


  • Be able to work collaboratively across a range of projects, including being part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Have well developed project management skills and the ability to take a key role in preparing planning deliverables including Statement of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements and Planning Proposal Reports.
  • Have well developed knowledge of the NSW planning system, with a demonstrated desire and ability to enhance and grow your expertise in this area.
  • Be able to liaise well with a range of clients with and provide advice across both private and government authorities.
  • Be a team player with the passion and drive necessary to work in a high performing environment.
  • Have an interest in developing others within the team by sharing your knowledge and collaborative work experiences.

 

Qualifications


  • A degree in Planning or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in urban planning
  • A team player and solutions focussed mindset.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure, industry or renewable energy projects (a plus).
