<p><strong>Utility Control Systems Field Representative (FSR)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Work Location: </strong>Aberdeen, Maryland</p>
<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Full Time</p>
<p>IronMountain Solutions, LLC is searching for a Utility Control Systems Field Representative (FSR) to support a customer located in Aberdeen, Maryland. Candidates must exercise excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and keen attention to detail.</p>
<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p>
<p>Under limited direction, the Army Metering Program (AMP) Field Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for optimization of a customer’s energy program's metering and control systems and for training Energy Specialists on those systems. The FSR works with Facilities and Maintenance Directors to address mechanical and control issues for buildings.</p>
<p><strong>Principal Duties and Required Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide customer support and work with the project engineers, other system engineers, and end-users to assist in developing cost-effective methods for an efficient Utility Controls design and system solution.</li>
<li>Work with essential/key team members to understand their systems requirements to ensure the correct IP infrastructure, points list, critical alarms, and scaling set points are integrated as designed.</li>
<li>Properly address TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications across multiple protocols including BACnet, Lon, Modbus, and others.</li>
<li>Follow QA procedures to ensure quality control performed by others is properly implemented throughout projects.</li>
<li>Write detailed daily reports pertaining to job-site milestones.</li>
<li>Perform inspections and testing of Utility Control Systems to ensure proper functionality.</li>
<li>Coordinate project work internally within the department and externally with other departments to ensure all projects are completed on time.</li>
<li>Provide technical assistance with regard to daily operations, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance of Army AMP systems. </li>
<li>Resolve operational and technical deficiencies.</li>
<li>Monitor daily operations ensuring system performance and data requirements meet specifications.</li>
<li>Identify, order, receive, and track parts.</li>
<li>Update, refine, maintain, and deliver training material.</li>
<li>May serve as a technical liaison between corporate departments, government customer, vendors, and others.</li>
<li>May provide leadership to lower-level employees. </li>
<li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desired Experience / Background</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with building automation, utility metering, or energy management systems</li>
<li>Hands‑on field experience troubleshooting controls hardware</li>
<li>Experience working on military installations or with federal customers</li>
<li>Understanding and experience with network configurations</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Education Requirement</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s of Science degree in a related technical field.</li>
<li>Experience Requirement: 8+ years of relevant professional experience</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>All work performed at customer site/No telework or remote option available.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Travel: 10%</strong></p>
<p><strong>Clearance Requirements:</strong> The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.</p>
