Veterinary Assistant - Rehabilitation

<p><strong>Friendship Hospital for Animals, </strong>a leading AAHA- accredited hospital located in <strong>Washington D.C.</strong> &nbsp;is seeking a compassionate veterinary assistant to join our <strong>Rehabilitation team!</strong> If you’re interested in helping pets regain their zest for life and enjoy being part of a collaborative, diverse team – we’d love to meet you!</p> <p><strong>About the role:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Our department is equipped with <strong>state-of-the-art therapeutic tools</strong>, including laser therapy, ultrasound, e-stim, hydrotherapy (Oasis UWTM), and a full range of therapeutic exercise equipment. The veterinary assistant works alongside the rehab doctors and technicians to assist with comprehensive rehabilitative care. You will also be responsible for assisting/coordinating appointments, so excellent communication skills and professionalism are a must. Someone who is detail oriented, great at multitasking, and implements Fear Free techniques is our ideal candidate.</p> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Three 13 hour shifts per week.
