What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures
- Perform patient restraint, venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
- Support anesthesia monitoring and surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain surgical suites and equipment
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
- Support both scheduled and drop-off appointments
- Maintain efficient patient flow in a busy general practice setting
- Provide attentive nursing care for hospitalized patients
- Ensure accurate and timely medical record documentation
- Educate clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Deliver a high level of customer service and client experience
- Support the team in building long-term client relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
- Strong technical skills in a general practice, urgent care, or ER setting
- Ability to multitask and support hospital flow efficiently
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Comfort working with both canine and feline patients
- RVT credentials or the ability to sit for the VTNE.
- Experience with dentistry, surgery, or anesthesia monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Preventative care and wellness exams
- Vaccinations and life-stage care
- Dental cleanings and oral health management
- Soft tissue and orthopedic surgery
- Diagnostics and in-house laboratory services
What We Offer
- Hourly Pay: $15–$17/hr. Negotiable for RVT candidates (based on experience)

- Must have graduated from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program within the past 3 years
