<p><strong>Receptionist</strong></p> <p><strong>Oath Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time or part-time Front-Desk receptionist</strong> to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Shifts may begin as early as 7:45 AM and end at closing, typically around 6:00 PM. Saturdays 8:30 am - 3:00 PM. Start and end times may be adjusted based on business needs.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.</li> <li>Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.</li> <li>Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.</li> <li>Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.</li> <li>Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant preferred, <strong>but we are willing to train the right candidate!</strong></li> <li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills</li> <li>Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor</li> </ul> <p><strong>About&nbsp;Oath Animal Hospital</strong></p> <p>Oath Animal Hospital, a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital, opened its doors in May 2023 in East Meadow.
