Veterinary Receptionist

<p><strong>Receptionist</strong></p> <p><strong>Bay Ridge Animal Hospital and Annapolis Cat Hospital are hiring a full-time Front-Desk Receptionist</strong> to&nbsp;be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Two early shifts (8:00 AM–6:00 PM), two late shifts (10:00 AM–8:00 PM), and rotating Saturday mornings. Occasional shifts from 8 am to 8 pm.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.</li> <li>Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.</li> <li>Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.</li> <li>Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.</li> <li>Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is required.</li> <li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills</li> <li>Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Bay Ridge Animal Hospital and Annapolis Cat Practice</strong></p> <p>At Bay Ridge Animal Hospital, we hold ourselves to a higher standard of veterinary care.
