<p><strong>Receptionist</strong></p>
<p><strong>Dublin Veterinary Hospital is hiring a full-time Front-Desk Receptionist</strong> to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. We are looking for a customer service professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and is passionate about animal care.</p>

<p><strong>Salary: </strong>$16.00 - $19.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications</p>
<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>This full-time position. Our hospital is open Monday– Friday from 8:00 AM–7:00 PM, and two Saturdays per month from 8:00 AM–1:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and work approximately 8-hour shifts, with the option of a 4- or 5-day work week.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.</li>
<li>Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.</li>
<li>Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.</li>
<li>Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience working with animals is required. Candidates must have experience in a veterinary hospital, animal kennel, daycare, grooming facility, or a similar animal care environment. </li>
<li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor</li>
