Veterinary Technician - Oncology

<p><strong>Quartet Veterinary Specialty Hospital</strong> in <strong>Cary, NC</strong>, is seeking experienced <strong>Veterinary Technicians </strong>to join its new <strong>Oncology </strong>service. In this role, you will help launch and grow the service during an exciting period of expansion, with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the team, hospital culture, and community.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the daily operations of the oncology service in collaboration with the oncologist.</li> <li>Assist with cancer staging, diagnostics, and treatment planning.</li> <li>Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses.</li> <li>Safely handle, prepare, and dispose of cytotoxic medications according to safety protocols.</li> <li>Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication calculations.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with clients and team members.</li> <li>Foster a positive, collaborative hospital culture.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong> This is a full-time position Four 10-hour shifts per week.
