<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Review and categorise Port State Control (PSC), Incident and Terminal.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Feedback Report data, including the quality of root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action plans submitted, and if required engage with ship managers on the requirements for satisfactory close-out.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Maintain the vetting database by receiving and inputting data into the Platform in an accurate and timely manner.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Act as the first point of contact for the Vetting team including daily monitoring and responding to e-mails and phone calls and escalate critical issues as appropriate.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Manage routine vetting enquiries from external parties.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Ensure a high level of accuracy and data validation in respect of records maintained and tasks undertaken within the Platform.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Prioritise own workload, ensuring deadlines are achieved and a high quality of service to customers is maintained.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Provide support to respond to queries about RightShip activities (i.e. vetting, inspections, Safety Score rating, GHG rating, etc).</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Ensure that all correspondence with external parties and provided documentation is properly maintained and archived as per company procedures.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>

<p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Qualifications, Skills & Experience </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559685":-425,"335559739":120}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Mandatory - Master or Chief Engineer certificate of competency and have sailed on international trading vessels in a senior capacity for a minimum of 5 years.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"335559740":259}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Must be able to demonstrate a strong background in safety – tanker background preferable.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Incident investigation / Root Cause Analysis training highly desirable.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience in the role of Safety Officer desirable.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Practical knowledge of ship construction, ship structures, ship machinery, ship repairing, ship operations, chartering and safety management systems.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">A good understanding of ship surveys and certification including Class, PSC/USCG, Flag State Surveys.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">A good understanding of international legislation relevant to shipping (relevant IMO and ILO regulations), ISM Code and STCW.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">A thorough understanding of vessel operations including current industry standards and recommended best practices (such as put out by OCIMF, ICS) for dry bulk, oil, chemical and gas vessels.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559738":240,"335559739":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Excellent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
