Group Finance is dedicated to delivering world-class standards in reporting, financial planning, and finance processes. Our goal is to provide insights and analyses that empower the bank to make informed business decisions – across product development, customer profitability, capital management, business planning, forecasting and tax/accounting advisory services.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Business Finance – T&O and Other SU, this seasoned VP will be an integral part of the T&O and Other SU Business Finance team, providing broad-based coverage across multiple units. The role is designed to actively support the shaping of financial strategy, strengthen stakeholder engagement and driving transformation initiatives, while managing governance, risk and controls processes across the function.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

• Actively support T&O / SU leadership as a Finance Business Partner and work alongside stakeholders across Business Finance teams
• Help foster strong relationships with senior management and regional counterparts, providing forward-looking financial insights and recommendations that guide performance, cost optimization, and investment decisions
• Support cross-functional alignment on financial and strategic priorities

2. Team Support & Capability Development

• Contribute to the effectiveness of the Business Finance team by promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Support the development and cross-skilling of team members to broaden capabilities and enhance coverage
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth

3. Transformation, AI & Digital Initiatives

• Play a key role in supporting AI, automation, and digital finance initiatives that drive efficiency and effectiveness in finance processes
• Support data-driven decision-making and the adoption of dashboards and advanced analytics
• Facilitate identification and implementation of opportunities for process optimization, standardization and automation (including STP adoption)

4. Financial Planning, Expense Management, Analytics & Insights

• Support monthly expense analysis for T&O / SU, including occupancy and computerization costs
• Oversee cost allocations, intercompany charges and IT chargeback processes
• Provide insights on cost drivers, efficiency opportunities and financial performance trends
• Actively contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and analytics tools to generate actionable business insights, while enhancing data management related to IT and real estate charges

5. Project & Investment Governance

• Support the financial evaluation and oversight of IT, real estate and business projects
• Monitor project expenditures, participate in finance system development initiatives, review real estate investment proposals and their financial implications

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field, with 12+ years of relevant experience
• Strong background in business partnering, financial planning & analysis, or consulting
• Demonstrated ability to support and influence senior stakeholders
• Experience in transformation, digital or data initiatives is preferred
• Strong analytical, data management and visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, QlikView or equivalent)
• Familiarity with finance systems (e.g., Hyperion, PSGL)
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and Chinese
