Vice President - Wealth Advisor

<p>Alley Company is a registered investment advisory firm located in Lake Forest, Illinois. The firm was founded in 1998 by Steven J. Alley with a clear purpose: to provide clients with understandable, long-term financial planning and investment management that is rooted in quality.</p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated Wealth Advisor to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in driving new business growth while also learning and supporting the client servicing side of the business.</p> <p>This is an ideal opportunity for a business development focused advisor who thrives on building relationships, developing referral networks, and generating new client opportunities while gaining exposure to investment management and client service opportunities.</p> <p>This position requires you to be on-site 5 days a week. Opportunities for workplace flexibility may be available based on performance, tenure, and business needs.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;<br></strong><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p><strong>Business Development (75%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proactively source and develop new client relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families</li> <li>Generate and schedule meetings with prospective clients through networking, referrals, and centers of influence</li> <li>Build relationships with external partners including accounting firms, real estate professionals, attorneys, and other strategic referral sources</li> <li>Work alongside leadership to expand center of influence channels and community presence</li> <li>Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and business development opportunities</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;<br></strong><strong>Client Service &amp; Relationship Management (25%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Learn the firm’s investment philosophy, client experience model, and operational processes</li> <li>Support existing client relationships in an account servicing capacity</li> <li>Partner with the investment and research teams to understand portfolio strategy and market positioning</li> <li>Assist senior advisors and relationship managers with ongoing client needs and communication</li> <li>Help deliver a high-touch, white-glove client experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;<br></strong><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree required. Progress towards CFP and/or CFA, a plus.</li> <li>5+ years of relevant experience</li> <li>Proven ability to develop new business and cultivate client relationships</li> <li>Strong networking and interpersonal communication skills</li> <li>Entrepreneurial mindset with a sales driven approach to business development</li> <li>Passion for wealth management, investments, and relationship management</li> <li>Ability to work independently while collaborating with a growing team</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;<br></strong>This position is an exempt position. Base salary may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. Incentive compensation can be meaningful based upon success of business development efforts.
