Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering or power electronics expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and solution-oriented teammates.

You'll play a key role in supporting train validation, commissioning, and warranty (C&W) teams, as well as the reliability growth team in the Netherlands, ensuring the successful validation and start of commercial service for our trains. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including the Tarbes design team in France, the ICNG Reliability Growth Manager, and the Traction System Engineer, to report and address events related to the traction drive, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of being the local traction referent in the Netherlands, but also collaborate with international teams to manage events that have a commercial impact.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Serving as the Tarbes traction representative in the Netherlands for validation and commercial service of trains
  • Supporting train validation, commissioning, and warranty teams
  • Collaborating with the ICNG Reliability Growth Manager on events with commercial impact
  • Reporting traction drive-related events to the Tarbes design team
  • Partnering with the Traction System Engineer and Project Manager to address technical challenges
  • Contributing to the reliability growth of our trains

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or power electronics
  • Experience or understanding of train validation processes
  • Knowledge of traction drive systems
  • Familiarity with commissioning and warranty processes
  • A strong proficiency in French and English
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an international and cross-functional environment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Duration : 18 months

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
