About the role

  • Digital Ads: Design performance-focused assets for paid channels like Meta, Google, and LinkedIn. These need to stop the scroll and communicate value instantly.
  • Storyboards: Create visual assets and scenes for launch and explainer videos. This includes product visuals, UI moments, and simple narrative flows.
  • Emails: Design newsletter banners, feature announcements, and promotional visuals that feel clear and lightweight, not crowded.
  • Landing Pages: Design new pages with strong hero visuals, section graphics, and product-focused illustrations that reinforce the message.
  • Social Media Assets: Design product-first posts that highlight features, use cases, and outcomes in a simple, engaging way.
  • Marketing Materials: Create assets such as event slides, in-app banners, posters, and website visuals that feel consistent with our brand.
  • Brand Ownership: Evolve and maintain the Fireflies visual system. This includes setting standards and making sure they are consistently applied across marketing and product surfaces.
  • Marketing Mindset: The goal is to create visuals that don’t just look good but also drive clicks, engagement, and conversions. Your designs will be seen by millions.
  • Ownership and Taste: You have a strong point of view and can make decisions without waiting for direction. You care about raising the overall quality bar.
  • Fundamental UI Skills: Since many assets involve product UI, a solid grasp of UI principles like visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and alignment is essential.
  • Motion with Intent: Animation should help communicate ideas, highlight important moments, and guide attention.
  • Figma Enthusiast: We rely heavily on Figma for creating and collaborating on design assets across teams. You must be a Figma pro and come with a good understanding of Auto-Layout and other relevant features to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Efficiency & Organization: Well-structured design files, clear layer naming, and optimized workflows will help the entire team collaborate smoothly.



  • Proven experience in visual design and branding.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Suite, Figma, After Effects).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in branding, motion design, and graphic design.
  • Experience working on web and landing page designs.
  • Good understanding of user experience (UX) design principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage projects independently.
