<p><strong>VP/Field CTO, GTM - Telecommunications</strong></p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>As a <strong>Field CTO – Telecommunications</strong>, you will be the architect of NewRocket's growth strategy in the telco sector — shaping how we go to market, what we offer, and how we win. You will define and build industry-specific offerings grounded in the real business process challenges facing telecommunications operators, and partner with Product Marketing to translate those offerings into pipeline-generating programs that elevate NewRocket's presence in the industry.</p> <p>This is a strategic, senior, client-facing role that combines industry thought leadership, offering development, and executive-level client engagement. You will be the person who ensures NewRocket has a compelling, differentiated point of view in telecommunications — spanning AI-powered industry solutions and targeted data offerings — and that it consistently drives top-of-funnel activity and competitive wins.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <p><strong>Shape the Telco Go-to-Market</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define NewRocket's offering strategy for the telecommunications industry, identifying the highest-value business process problems where NewRocket can deliver differentiated outcomes.</li> <li>Partner with Marketing to develop industry-specific messaging, positioning, and content — including thought leadership, solution briefs, campaign assets, and event presence — that generates awareness and top-of-funnel pipeline.</li> <li>Represent NewRocket's telco point of view externally through speaking engagements, industry forums (TM Forum, GSMA), white papers, and executive roundtables.</li> <li>Monitor industry trends — BSS/OSS modernization, 5G monetization, AI-driven network operations, agentic AI, cloud-native transformation — and translate them into timely, relevant go-to-market narratives.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Architect AI Industry Solutions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and architect AI-powered solutions purpose-built for the telecommunications industry — including agentic AI workflows, predictive operations, intelligent process automation, and AI-assisted customer and network management.</li> <li>Define how AI capabilities map to specific telco business processes — for example, AI-driven fault prediction and resolution in network operations, intelligent order fallout management in service fulfillment, dynamic resource reassignment in field operations.</li> <li>Develop AI solutions that are aligned with ServiceNow’s broad capability areas, that integrate with existing BSS/OSS and network environments, clearly defining data inputs, model requirements, workflow orchestration, and business outcome metrics.</li> <li>Stay current on the evolving AI and agentic landscape — including large language models, AI agents, and multi-model orchestration — and translate these into credible, practical applications for telco clients.</li> <li>Work with NewRocket's internal AI capabilities (including the Intelligent Agent Crew and NewRocket Intelligence) to apply and extend proprietary assets in telco-specific contexts.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Define Targeted Data Offerings</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify and design data offerings specific to the telecommunications industry — addressing the data challenges, gaps, and opportunities that sit behind every major telco transformation initiative.</li> <li>Define telco-specific data products and frameworks across key domains:</li> <ul> <li><em>Network data:</em> topology, performance KPIs/KQIs, CDRs/xDRs, alarm and event streams, and network inventory datasets.</li> <li><em>Customer &amp; product data:</em> subscriber profiles, product catalog structures, service configurations, and entitlement data.</li> <li><em>Operational data:</em> trouble ticket histories, SLA breach records, workforce management data, and field service records.</li> </ul> <li>Architect data integration and management frameworks — including data strategies and data quality approaches — that enable AI, analytics, and operational intelligence use cases.</li> <li>Partner with clients to define data strategies that turn underutilized telco data assets into measurable business value.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Build Industry-Specific Offerings</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and develop telco-specific offerings tied to core telecommunications business processes, including order management, service fulfillment, network assurance, trouble-to-resolve, revenue assurance, and fraud management — as well as AI-powered and data-driven extensions of these processes.</li> <li>Define offering frameworks that span business process design, solution architecture, AI integration, data strategy, platform configuration, and delivery — ensuring each offering is grounded in operational reality and executable by delivery teams.</li> <li>Build reusable solution assets — reference architectures, process blueprints, industry data models, and configuration accelerators — that give NewRocket a repeatable, scalable edge across the telco market.</li> <li>Collaborate with delivery, product, and engineering teams to validate offering feasibility and ensure they can be brought to market with confidence.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Lead Executive Client Engagement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Engage directly with C-level, VP, and senior executive stakeholders at telco clients and prospects — leading strategic conversations that connect business outcomes to solution architecture.</li> <li>Facilitate executive workshops and architecture reviews that surface the right business priorities, define success criteria, and establish NewRocket as a trusted strategic partner.</li> <li>Translate complex telco business challenges — spanning customer, service, network, infrastructure, and financial domains — into clear architectural recommendations that drive measurable outcomes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Support Pre-Sales</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide senior architectural guidance on active telco pursuits, shaping solution scope, investment cases, and win strategy in collaboration with sales teams.</li> <li>Develop and deliver executive-level presentations and solution narratives that articulate the business value of NewRocket's telco offerings to senior buyer audiences.</li> <li>Contribute to RFP and RFI responses, ensuring proposed solutions are architecturally sound, differentiated, and aligned to the client's strategic direction.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>15+ years of experience in solutions architecture, strategy consulting, or technology leadership with direct experience serving or working within the telecommunications industry.</li> <li>Demonstrated track record of developing go-to-market offerings, solution frameworks, or industry practices — not just delivering projects.</li> <li>Experience engaging at the C-suite and VP level, driving strategic technology conversations that result in business commitment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Telco Domain Expertise</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deep, practitioner-level knowledge of core telco business processes across 2 of the 3 major areas of the value chain:</li> <ul> <li><em>Customer:</em> Lead-to-cash, order management, CPQ, customer care, and churn management.</li> <li><em>Service &amp; Network:</em> Service fulfillment, activate-to-bill, trouble-to-resolve, fault management, and SLA assurance.</li> <li><em>Infrastructure:</em> Plan-to-build, network provisioning, capacity management, and asset lifecycle.</li> </ul> <li>Ability to connect business process design to the supporting technology and data environments that make transformation real and sustainable.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technology &amp; Architecture</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong architectural fluency across BSS/OSS platforms (Amdocs, Ericsson, Oracle Communications, Netcracker, Salesforce Industries), integration patterns, AI/ML architecture, and cloud-native telco architectures.</li> <li>Experience architecting <strong>AI and agentic solutions</strong> — including LLM-based workflows, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and multi-agent orchestration — within enterprise technology environments.</li> <li>Proficiency with TM Forum frameworks — eTOM, TAM, and Open APIs — as tools for offering design, scoping, and executive communication.</li> </ul> <h1><strong style="font-size: 14px;">Reporting To</strong></h1> <p>Chief Growth &amp;
