Beyond Magic Mike Live, FAL develops original, IP-driven live experiences across dance, music, and immersive storytelling.</p> <p>Bringing heart, humor, and world-class storytelling to every performance, each FAL experience is designed to move people, set a standard of excellence, and defy expectations of what live entertainment can be.</p> <h1>Position Overview</h1> <p>The VP, Finance is a senior leader who operates with hands-on ownership across the full scope of FAL’s financial function. Reporting to the CFO and COO, this role serves as the connective tissue between financial operations and executive decision-making, ensuring that leadership always has the clarity, rigor, and foresight needed to run the business.</p> <p>This person will work closely with the executive steering committee and support board-level reporting, capital strategy, and cross-functional financial planning. The right candidate is both analytically excellent and operationally pragmatic — equally comfortable building a financial model and presenting findings to a board of directors.</p> <h1>Key Responsibilities</h1> <h2>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis</h2> <ul> <li>Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning across FAL’s multi-entity, multi-market structure.</li> <li>Own financial modeling across existing venues (Las Vegas, London), the NYC launch, and new project development.</li> <li>Build and maintain scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decision-making.</li> <li>Develop and manage KPI frameworks that give leadership real-time visibility into business performance.</li> </ul> <h2>Reporting &amp; Financial Infrastructure</h2> <ul> <li>Design and maintain management reporting systems that deliver accurate, timely financial insights to the executive team.</li> <li>Oversee monthly close processes in coordination with accounting, ensuring integrity of financial statements across all entities.</li> <li>Build and own reporting packages for the executive steering committee and board of directors.</li> <li>Establish and improve financial controls, workflows, and infrastructure to support operational scale.</li> </ul> <h2>Board &amp; Executive Support</h2> <ul> <li>Prepare board materials, including financial decks, investment memos, and performance summaries.</li> <li>Support capital structure decisions, including debt financing, investor reporting, and fundraising diligence.</li> <li>Partner with the CFO and COO on strategic initiatives, deal analysis, and growth opportunity evaluation.</li> <li>Serve as a key financial voice in executive steering committee discussions, providing clear, decision-ready analysis.</li> </ul> <h2>Content, Deal &amp; Multi-Sector Finance</h2> <ul> <li>Support financial structuring and analysis across FAL’s diverse business lines, including live events, content, distribution, and licensing.</li> <li>Evaluate strategic partnerships, licensing arrangements, and new market opportunities from a financial and commercial lens.</li> <li>Assist in negotiation support and financial due diligence for new business development and IP expansion.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1>Qualifications</h1> <h2>Required</h2> <ul> <li>8+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally spanning FP&amp;A, strategic finance, and executive or board-level reporting.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience at a media, entertainment, content, or live events company.</li> <li>Exceptional financial modeling skills and fluency with complex, multi-entity P&amp;L structures.</li> <li>Track record of building and maintaining financial reporting infrastructure, not just consuming it.</li> <li>Experience preparing or directly contributing to board materials and investor communications.</li> <li>Strong communicator who can translate financial complexity into clear, executive-ready narratives.</li> <li>High degree of ownership, intellectual rigor, and comfort operating in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.</li> </ul> <h2>Preferred</h2> <ul> <li>Experience in live events, touring, or experiential entertainment is a strong plus.</li> <li>Familiarity across multiple content and revenue verticals, including Film, TV, Music, Merchandise, Production, or Licensing.</li> <li>Background in both corporate finance and content/deal strategy.</li> <li>Prior experience at a growth-stage company scaling from single to multi-market operations.</li> <li>Familiarity with cap table management, fundraising processes, or working with private equity-backed or investor-governed organizations.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Free Association Live Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
