Fortitude Re continues to strengthen its ability to pursue further growth and provide innovative solutions for the global insurance industry.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Click <a href="https://fortitude-re.com/" target="_self">here</a>&nbsp;for more&nbsp;information about Fortitude Re.</p></div><p>The <strong>Vice President, Life Pricing Actuary Manager </strong>is an experienced professional with demonstrated ability to price and manage a large pipeline of life and annuity reinsurance transactions.</p> <p><strong>What You Will Do</strong>:</p> <ul> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Project Support</span>: Support various pricing projects by managing timelines, coordinating tasks, and ensuring deliverables are met.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Process Improvement</span>: Identify opportunities for process improvements in pricing activities and implement enhancements.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Pricing Analysis Data Analysis</span>: Oversee the collection and analysis of data to support pricing decisions.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Pricing Models</span>: Develop and maintain pricing models, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Risk Assessment</span>: Consider general as well as transaction specific risks in the pricing analyses.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Team Management Team Supervision</span>: Supervise and mentor Assistant Vice Presidents, Senior Associates and Associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Talent Development</span>: Assist in recruiting, training, and developing pricing team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Collaboration and Communication Cross-functional Collaboration</span>: Work closely with investments, strategic finance, tax, and other teams to ensure the pricing analysis aligns with Fortitude's overall business goals.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Stakeholder Communication</span>: Prepare and present the results of the pricing analyses to senior management and other key stakeholders.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Client Interaction</span>: Occasionally engage with cedants or other clients to explain pricing methodologies and address any concerns.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Standards and Governance Pricing Standards</span>: Provide support in developing and refining pricing standards.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Governance</span>: Assist with governance and ERM policies related to the pricing function.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Innovation and Continuous Improvement Process Improvement</span>: Assist the Senior Vice Presidents in identifying and implementing opportunities to improve pricing processes and models.</li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Innovation</span>: Support the Senior Vice Presidents in identifying innovative approaches to pricing and transaction structuring.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Will Have</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or Institute of Actuaries.</li> <li>At least 7 years of pricing experience in/supporting the (re) insurance industry, with emphasis on life (re) insurance.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including senior management, internal functional partners and counterparties.</li> <li>Organized, reliable, detail-orientated, and motivate to support teams in delivering timely results and quality work products.</li> <li>Mergers and acquisition experience preferred.</li> </ul> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience.
