VP of Compliance (Stablecoin/ Payment)

This position is based in Singapore, and EP sponsorship is available if required.</p> <h3 data-path-to-node="4"><strong data-path-to-node="4" data-index-in-node="0">What You’ll Do</strong></h3> <ul data-path-to-node="5"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Subject Matter Expertise:</strong> Act as the primary expert on stablecoins, digital payment token (DPT) regulations, cross-border transfer rules, the Travel Rule, and technology risk requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Regulatory Integration:</strong> Translate complex MAS regulations into actionable policies and controls for the product, technology, and operations teams.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Compliance Operations:</strong> Oversee day-to-day compliance functions, including transaction monitoring, wallet screening, sanctions screening, market surveillance, customer asset protection, and partner due diligence.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Regulatory Liaison:</strong> Own the relationship with MAS, managing inspections, regulatory reporting, new license applications/amendments, and incident handling.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Partner closely with Product, Technology, Legal, Operations, Treasury, and Fraud teams to embed compliance into innovative products and services.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,5,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,5,0" data-index-in-node="0">Training &amp; Culture:</strong> Lead internal training for sales, trading, engineering, and leadership teams on AML/KYC, sanctions, and technology risk management (TRM).</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="6"><strong data-path-to-node="6" data-index-in-node="0">What You Need</strong></h3> <ul data-path-to-node="7"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Experience:</strong> 10+ years of AML experience within the payments, crypto, or fintech compliance sectors.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Regulatory Knowledge:</strong> Deep understanding of the MAS Payment Services Act (PSA), DPT rules, Travel Rule, TRM Guidelines, and customer asset safeguards.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Certifications:</strong> IBF Level 2, ACAMS, or International Compliance Association (ICA) certification is preferred. Additional certifications (CAMS, CGSS, CISSP, etc.) are a plus.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Technical Proficiency:</strong> Hands-on experience with blockchain analytics and on-chain screening tools.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Startup Agility:</strong> A proven ability to collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced startup environment.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,5,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,5,0" data-index-in-node="0">Regional Advantage:</strong> Prior experience with Hong Kong AMLO/MSO regulations is a strong advantage.</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
