This person will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with senior executives at high-priority accounts, leveraging industry insights to inform strategic initiatives and developing compelling proposals to showcase the value of Talkspace's solutions. They oversee the sales cycle for new payer accounts, assist with business development initiatives, and drive referrals. This includes fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful service implementation and delivery, tailoring offerings to meet client needs, and aligning payer contracting strategies with organizational priorities. Additionally, they lead contract negotiations with national payers, resolve escalated complaints, and monitor relevant legislation to support the organization's financial sustainability and growth objectives. What You’ll Do <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strategic Account Management <ul> <li>Cultivate and manage relationships with senior executives and decision-makers at high-priority and assigned accounts.</li> <li>Understand industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic initiatives.</li> <li>Assist with business development initiatives and partnerships to drive referrals.</li> <li>Upsell  other Talkspace lines of business to assigned accounts as well as sell to other payor lines of business.</li> <li>Develop and present compelling proposals, showcasing the value of Talkspace's solutions to clients.</li> <li>Oversee the sales cycle for new payer accounts, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.</li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Cross-Functional Collaboration <ul> <li>Foster collaboration across internal departments to ensure successful implementation and delivery of services.</li> <li>Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to tailor Talkspace's offerings to meet clients' specific requirements.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, clinical leadership, and operational teams, to ensure alignment of payer growth strategies with organizational priorities and initiatives.</li> <li>Lead contract negotiations with national payers to secure favorable reimbursement rates, terms, and conditions that support the financial sustainability and growth objectives of the organization, including value based contracting opportunities.</li> <li>Resolve escalated payer/client complaints which could affect Talkspace’s relationship with the payer.</li> <li>Monitor state and federal legislation related to payment initiatives and policy changes that could impact negotiations with health plans.</li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Performs other related duties as assigned. </li> </ul> About You  <ul> <li>10 years experience in managing payer relationships and contracting (negotiation,implementation, account management of payer relations in healthcare).</li> <li>5+ years in behavioral healthcare, preferably at a regional or national level.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).</li> <li>Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior clinicians, C-suite executives, and other community leaders to execute the strategic vision set forth by the Chief Growth Officer.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and develop customized solutions.</li> <li>Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Google Sheets, and more)and sales tools to track progress and manage relationships.</li> <li>Strong skills in preparing comprehensive presentations and utilizing social media and modern marketing platforms across territories.</li> <li>Results-oriented attitude with a track record of exceeding sales targets and goals.</li> <li>Comfort with public speaking and presenting.</li> </ul> Benefits  <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision plans</li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Pre-tax benefits: HSA/ FSA</li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">401k Retirement Savings Program with matching up to 4%</li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Voluntary benefits including disability, basic life or pet insurance, etc.</li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monthly Wellness Stipend to promote mental and physical self-care</li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Flexible PTO and Remote First Environment</li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Regular team events, including Wellness Workshops and Team Building Events</li> <li style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Free access to Talkspace products for you and one household member, as well as access to a friends and family discount! </li> </ul> Compensation At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.
