Het rode Kruis is een onafhankelijke vrijwilligersorganisatie. Onze missie is opkomen en ondersteuning bieden voor kwetsbare mensen in binnen- en buitenland en actief zijn op het vlak van rampenbestrijding, zelfredzaamheid en bloedvoorziening. Hiervoor doen we maximaal beroep op vrijwilligers. Taak Zorgbib-vrijwilligers bezoeken bewoners en lenen hen goede boeken, cd’s of dvd’s uit.
