Bilingual Walk Safe Presenter
Salary
$22.58 per hour
Milage
$17.50/day (or $8.75 AM and $8.75 PM)
Shifts and Hours
Monday through Friday (varies), 3-7 hours per presentation day with the possibility of split shifts (i.e. half-days). Operational School Year (August to June)
Reports to
Senior Program Manager – School Zone Safety
Core Competencies
The ideal candidate will have French as a first language skills, as well correspond in English.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Exemplary Presentation skills in both French and English.
Excellent communication skills for working with Principals and teachers.
Exemplary customer service and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work independently while keeping communication open and transparent.

Requirements
Recent Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check (VSC) (Can be completed during the application process. Costs are reimbursed by the OSC. Employment offers conditional upon a VSC).
Effective verbal and listening communications skills in English and French.
Ability to interact and cooperate with people of diverse ages and backgrounds.
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to a work schedule.
Must have a personal Smart Device with GPS enabled for use of scheduling App with clock-in timesheet and shift schedule management.
Must hold a valid G driver’s license with fewer than seven demerit points and maintain a clean record.
Must have a reliable vehicle as local travel is required.
A home computer and personal cell phone is required, as well as access to a scanner/fax machine.
Work Conditions
Occasionally lift items as heavy as 30 lbs.
Daily travel within zone.
