The Role:

  • Inspire and Engage: Deliver engaging and differentiated Drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering a love of theatre and developing students' performance skills.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Drama curriculum that nurtures creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
  • Production Involvement: Lead and support school productions, providing students with valuable performance experience and opportunities to develop their technical theatre skills.
  • Pastoral Care: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students, supporting their well-being and personal development.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Drama education.
  • Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of drama techniques, theatre history, and performance practices.
  • Creative Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the Performing Arts department.
