About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sociology teacher to inspire our students and foster a love of social science. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving department and make a lasting impact on students' learning and understanding of the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative Sociology lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and social awareness.
- Prepare students for success in GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies.
- Contribute to the development of the department's curriculum and assessment strategies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Sociology or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Sociology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
