Warehouse & Merchandising Associate
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and organized Warehouse & Merchandising Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, deliveries, stock organization, merchandising, and maintaining high presentation standards at customer locations. The ideal candidate must be physically fit, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
- Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming stock
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation (FIFO)
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Assist with container offloading and stock put-away
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely where qualified
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
Merchandising Duties
- Merchandise products in supermarkets, convenience stores, and other customer locations
- Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, clean, and properly rotated
- Build and maintain promotional displays and point-of-sale materials
- Monitor product expiry dates and remove damaged or expired stock
- Maintain strong relationships with store staff and managers
- Ensure pricing and product placement meet company standards
General Responsibilities
- Follow company health and safety procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Assist other departments when operationally required
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
- Work weekends, overtime, and public holidays when required
Requirements
- Valid Group 3 Driver’s License required
- Ability to regularly lift and move 50 pounds
- Previous warehouse, merchandising, or retail experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Skills
- Forklift operation experience required or considered a strong asset
- Experience using handheld scanners or inventory systems
- Experience in FMCG/distribution environments
- Customer service experience preferred
Working Conditions

- Exposure to varying temperatures during deliveries and merchandising activities
