This position ensures materials are handled, documented, and stored in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. &nbsp;</p> <p>The Warehouse Assistant II maintains inventory accuracy, documents the condition of incoming materials, and ensures proper segregation of inventory such as critical spare parts and unserviceable equipment. This role collaborates with manufacturing facilities, Field Service personnel, vendors, and transportation providers to ensure materials moving through the warehouse and in transit are properly tracked and accounted for. &nbsp;</p> <p>In addition, the Warehouse Assistant II assists with inventory counts, supports warehouse operational improvements, and contributes to maintaining procedures related to warehouse operations and the Field Service Return Material Authorization (RMA) process. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span> &nbsp;</p> <p>This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></span> &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Receive, store, issue, and ship parts and equipment while ensuring inventory records are updated and material condition is documented. &nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain proper storage and handling of equipment and materials to prevent damage and maintain inventory integrity. &nbsp;</li> <li>Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions related to warehouse operations, inventory management, and barcode scanning. &nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain documentation for parts and equipment stored in the warehouse or in transit to ensure accountability of materials. &nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct physical inventories including cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy. &nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain accountability for Field Service testing equipment within the IAD Center of Excellence in accordance with established procedures. &nbsp;</li> <li>Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to receive, store, ship, and track materials. &nbsp;</li> <li>Assist in supporting Field Service inventory activities including warehouse organization and inventory counts. &nbsp;</li> <li>Provide recommendations to improve warehouse operations and assist in the development of warehouse policies and procedures. &nbsp;</li> <li>Deploy to Field Service locations when required to assist with warehouse setup, inventory activities, or operational improvements. &nbsp;</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>COMPETENCIES:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Warehouse Operations Execution: Supports the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. &nbsp;</li> <li>Inventory Accountability: Maintains proper documentation and tracking of materials to ensure inventory integrity. &nbsp;</li> <li>Attention to Detail: Ensures materials are properly documented, stored, and handled in accordance with procedures. &nbsp;</li> <li>Cross-Functional Coordination: Works effectively with Field Service teams, manufacturing facilities, vendors, and transport providers to manage material movement. &nbsp;</li> <li>Organization &amp; Task Management: Prioritizes warehouse tasks and supports efficient material handling in a fast-paced environment. &nbsp;</li> <li>Problem Solving: Identifies and helps resolve issues related to material handling, documentation, or inventory discrepancies. &nbsp;</li> <li>Communication: Maintains clear communication with internal teams regarding material status and operational needs. &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></span>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent. &nbsp;</li> <li>Minimum of 2 year of experience in warehouse operations or inventory handling.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience using inventory management systems to track materials and maintain inventory records. &nbsp;</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL:</strong></span>&nbsp;</p> <p>Physical Demands: &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Activities: Sitting – 40% Walking/Standing – 60% &nbsp;</li> <li>Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 75lbs. &nbsp;</li> <li>Vision: Long periods of close work on a computer screen. &nbsp;</li> <li>Travel: Travel (up to 10%) to IEM regional offices, warehouse locations, or vendor sites.</li> </ul> <p>Mental Demands: Interpret, analyze, research, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. &nbsp;</p> <p>Environment: Climate-controlled office space and warehouse environments;
