About the role
Overview
Responsible for receiving inventory in GP, managing parts repair logs, auditing stock, assisting employees and contractors in locating parts, performing cycle counts, and tracking warehouse inventory.
Responsibilities
- Arrange, log, and coordinate parts repairs with vendors and departments.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Receiving daily shipments into the computer system.
- Accept deliveries, check in products/place into proper stocking locations, pick parts, issue parts to appropriate departments, perform cycle count, and assist employees and contractors as “customers”.
- Audit part labeling, quantity, and stocking locations.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
- Operate Forklift, Reach Truck, and Vidmar rack system.
- Vacation coverage for coworkers (including swing shift when necessary)
- Other task assigned by Supervisor and Department Manager.
Qualifications
Required
- A strong focus on safety
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented, strong communication skills, and Self-Starter.
Preferred
Knowledge of Excel, and Outlook software, Forklift certified, knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or welding replacement parts helpful.
