Aqua Blue Pools is looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our Warranty Technician Team! This is a full-time, year-round position (NOT seasonal) with great pay, benefits, and the opportunity to work with a team that values integrity, customer service!

Bachelor's degree or comparable industry experience preferred.

βš’οΈ What You’ll Be Doing – Your Day in the Life of a Warranty Technician

What you’ll be doing:

  • Putting your construction knowledge and construction processes to use on each project to ensure pools are repaired to the highest quality per building codes and municipality requirements - and the standards set by Aqua Blue Pools, exceeding customer expectations each step along the way.
  • Conduct quality swimming pool repairs within budget and in a timely manner
  • Practicing attention to detail and effective communication within team
  • Follow timelines while minimizing waste
  • Communicate timelines, expectations, and completion of repairs that are being performed with the client.
  • Professionally work alongside subcontractors and other parties involved in repairs
  • Effectively communicate between departments
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Review construction details and previous repairs to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide internal reporting and projections for inventory
  • Report project progress on timeline, and adjustments
  • Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met
  • Interpret and explain technical information
  • Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems
  • Be an effective team member
  • Ensure all equipment and materials needed are in working order
  • Effectively operate within scope of work
  • Ensure processes start and end on time, and efficiently
  • Accept on-call service as needed.

As a Warranty Technician in our construction division we would prefer you possess the following:

  • Clean Driving Record
  • Three years’ experience in similar position or comparable industry experience
  • Be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Be able to stoop, bend, kneel, sit, and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Able to work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Goal-oriented and autonomous
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • In-depth understanding of the construction industry
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Integrity

Other:

  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices
  • Able to build solid relationships with team members and customers
  • Maintaining the highest standards in customer-service; ethical and professional conduct
  • Knowledge of pools is a plus
  • A relentless pursuit of perfection - consistently open to encouragement, training and coaching
  • A talent for communicating - on the phone, in writing, and in person
  • An impeccable professional appearance

This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks associated with construction and/or service work that involves frequent heavy lifting, repetitive motion, prolonged standing, walking, and bending in outdoor working environments. Applicants must be able to safely perform these essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
