About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently type and format documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Proofread and edit typed content for accuracy.
- Ensure documents follow company formatting guidelines.
- Enter and maintain data in software systems and databases.
- Organize and manage digital files for easy retrieval.
- Transcribe audio or video recordings into written text (if applicable).
- Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with team members for timely task completion.
- Maintain clear communication on progress and issues.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) or other word processing software.
- Excellent typing speed (minimum of 50 WPM) with high accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread documents.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Prior experience as a typist or in a similar administrative role is a plus.
