As a Senior Windows Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows-based servers and systems. Your role will involve managing server infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the reliability and security of the Windows environment.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You'll Be Doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Administer and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and patch management&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor and alert on the health and status of all infrastructure hardware and software components&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure performance and reliability&nbsp;</li> <li>Providing incident response support to include break/fix, restoration of service, and provisioning of services.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and maintain patching and upgrade plans&nbsp;</li> <li>Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and SOPs&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness by implementing appropriate backup and restoration strategies&nbsp;</li> <li>Install, configure, and troubleshoot the local and wide area network applications, including software development tools and operating systems&nbsp;</li> <li>Management, maintenance, and support of all Backup &amp; Restore platforms, hardware, and software&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Education, Experience, and Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>This is an <strong>on-site position</strong> at a government facility</li> <li>An <strong>Active Secret Clearance</strong> is required</li> <li>This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime <ul> <li>Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule, if required</li> </ul> </li> <li>7 or more years of experience in the following:&nbsp; <ul> <li>Dell Intel-based servers&nbsp;</li> <li>HP Intel-based servers&nbsp;</li> <li>MS domain infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Network Policy Server&nbsp;</li> <li>MS Windows 10&nbsp;</li> <li>McAfee Antivirus&nbsp;</li> <li>Symantec Endpoint Protection&nbsp;</li> <li>Veritas NetBackup 8.12&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><span class="ui-provider gr b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak">Our estimated salary range for this position is $65,600-$78,000.
