Senior Wired Network Engineer (Design & Implementation – Cisco SD-WAN)

<p></p> <p><strong data-start="277" data-end="295">About the Role</strong></p> <p data-start="296" data-end="538">We’re seeking a <strong data-start="312" data-end="357">highly experienced Wired Network Engineer</strong> with both <strong data-start="368" data-end="395">hands-on implementation</strong> and <strong data-start="400" data-end="431">network design/architecture</strong> expertise to support a large-scale network modernization project across <strong data-start="504" data-end="535">600+ retail store locations</strong>.</p> <p data-start="540" data-end="793">This role requires a strong blend of <strong data-start="577" data-end="616">strategic network design validation</strong>, <strong data-start="618" data-end="656">architecture-level problem-solving</strong>, and <strong data-start="662" data-end="689">hands-on implementation</strong> in complex enterprise WAN environments leveraging <strong data-start="740" data-end="758">Viptela SD-WAN</strong> and <strong Doing</strong></p> <ul data-start="991" data-end="1869"> <li data-start="991" data-end="1124"> <p data-start="993" data-end="1124">Lead and execute network upgrades across 600+ distributed retail sites following established design and deployment frameworks</p> </li> <li data-start="1125" data-end="1240"> <p data-start="1127" data-end="1240">Design, validate, and refine enterprise network architectures and configuration templates before deployment</p> </li> <li data-start="1241" data-end="1347"> <p data-start="1243" data-end="1347">Ensure network solutions align with enterprise standards, scalability, and security best practices</p> </li> <li data-start="1348" data-end="1446"> <p data-start="1350" data-end="1446">Implement and optimize configurations on Viptela SD-WAN and Cisco IOS-XE platforms</p> </li> <li data-start="1447" data-end="1555"> <p data-start="1449" data-end="1555">Troubleshoot and resolve advanced WAN connectivity and performance issues across hybrid environments</p> </li> <li data-start="1556" data-end="1668"> <p data-start="1558" data-end="1668">Collaborate with architecture, operations, and implementation teams to ensure seamless rollout execution</p> </li> <li data-start="1669" data-end="1762"> <p data-start="1671" data-end="1762">Provide technical and design guidance to junior engineers and implementation partners</p> </li> <li data-start="1880" data-end="1906">What We’re Looking For:</strong></p> <ul data-start="1941" data-end="2718"> <li data-start="1941" data-end="2039"> <p data-start="1943" data-end="2039">7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in large-scale enterprise environments</p> </li> <li data-start="2040" data-end="2152"> <p data-start="2042" data-end="2152">Proven network design and architecture experience (preferably in distributed or multi-site environments)</p> </li> <li data-start="2153" data-end="2238"> <p data-start="2155" data-end="2238">Deep expertise in Viptela SD-WAN (design, configuration, and troubleshooting)</p> </li> <li data-start="2239" data-end="2305"> <p data-start="2241" data-end="2305">Strong proficiency with Cisco IOS-XE routing and switching</p> </li> <li data-start="2306" data-end="2441"> <p data-start="2308" data-end="2441">In-depth understanding of WAN architectures, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and network performance optimization</p> </li> <li data-start="2442" data-end="2560"> <p data-start="2444" data-end="2560">Demonstrated ability to lead network design validation and execute implementation with minimal supervision</p> </li>
