<p><strong>Background: </strong></p>
<p><a href="https://www.familywellhealth.com/">FamilyWell Health </a>is an AI-enabled mental health start-up dedicated to solving the women’s mental health crisis by seamlessly embedding high quality, equitable, & affordable mental health care into OB/Gyn practices. FamilyWell provides comprehensive virtual mental health services designed specifically for integration into women’s health practices and health systems. FamilyWell’s virtual care team model delivers evidence-based mental health support throughout the full reproductive lifecycle—from fertility through menopause—using the proven Collaborative Care Model (CoCM).</p>
<p>Our tech-enabled platform seamlessly embeds coaching, therapy, and psychiatric services directly into clinical workflows, making high-quality mental health care accessible, affordable, and insurance-covered. With 95% of patients experiencing clinical improvement within four months, we're addressing one of healthcare's most underserved areas while creating a financially sustainable model for our provider partners.</p>
<p>Following our recent $8M Series A funding, we're expanding nationwide and seeking exceptional talent to join our mission-driven team.</p>
<p><strong>Role:</strong></p>
<h4><strong>Location</strong><strong>: </strong>Remote<strong><br></strong><strong>Department: </strong>Care Operations<strong><br></strong><strong>Job type: </strong>Part-time, 10-30 hours per week as a 1099/contractor<strong><br></strong><strong>Compensation: </strong>$80 per 60-minute session (inclusive of intake and follow-up) plus 2-hour allotment per month for administrative compensation <strong><br><br></strong></h4>
<h4><strong>Patient Care & Support Responsibilities:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Provide individual tele-therapy to patients requesting regular sessions using FamilyWell’s virtual platform.</li>
<li>Conduct one-on-one psychological intakes for referred FamilyWell program patients, gathering comprehensive assessments to inform treatment planning.<br><br></li>
<li>Document patient progress comprehensively, sharing treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating professionals as needed.<br>Facilitate treatment plan modifications for patients needing more intensive or specialized mental health care, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.</li>
<li>Develop and deliver Care Plans post-session, offering patients actionable insights and follow-up steps.<br><br></li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Licensed mental health provider who holds an active license in IL. <strong>All applicants must be able to practice independently / without supervision.</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Licensures that qualify include the following</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li> Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)</li>
<li> Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)</li>
<li> Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)</li>
<li> Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT)</li>
<li> Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Experience:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Formal perinatal/peri/menopause mental health training or a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with pregnant and/or postpartum and/or peri/menopause patients is strongly preferred.<br><br></li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Preferred Certification:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International is recommended but not required.</li>
<li>Proof of certification in the treatment of the Peri/Menopause population is recommended but not required.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Skills & Attributes:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Passionate and driven to improve women’s mental healthcare delivery, especially for vulnerable patient populations.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.</li>
<li>Commitment to patient-centered care and innovative mental health solutions.</li>
<li>Proficiency with tele-therapy platforms and virtual care delivery.</li>
